Former GM of Chase Merchant Services leads Direct Sales Team of more than 500

Atlanta, GA – RBS WorldPay, a non-bank subsidiary of Citizens Financial Group, Inc. and the U.S. payment processing division of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, announced today that it has appointed Kurt Metzler as executive vice president and general manager of the small business unit. Metzler oversees RBS WorldPay's direct sales force across the United States. Additionally, he will oversee and manage Citizens Financial Group’s merchant acquiring sales force and relationship.
Metzler brings to RBS WorldPay more than 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience focused on the identification and development of new revenue streams and accelerated revenue growth. Most recently, Metzler was executive vice president and general manager of Chase Merchant Services LLC, the merchant processing arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co. At Chase, which subsequently integrated with First Data’s Paymentech unit to form Chase Paymentech Solutions, Metzler worked with a portfolio of more than 50,000 small businesses. Prior to Chase Merchant Services, Kurt Metzler served in several roles with Western Union Commercial Services, including vice president and general manager of Commercial Messaging. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
