Merchant PCI Tips
- Ensure to batch-out in a timely fashion to prevent data from being stored on your terminal
- Ensure you payment software truncates the cardholder number on all documents and logs if possible
- Secure any logs and/or receipts that have cardholder numbers so that thieves and/or other unauthorized employees cannot readily access this information.
- Secure your payment device so it cannot be stole
- • Contact local authorities whenever you notice suspicious or malicious activity or if your terminal is stolen
